Computer Aided Design (CAD) is the process of creation of digital product information. CAD data helps better manufacturing and engineering of the product and ensures quick updation of product changes. Following are the CAD services offered by EES.

3D MODELING
3D modeling is the process of representing the product digitally in a 3 dimensional form.
 
2D DRAWING
Drawings are the language of the engineers. The product information is passed on between different departments of the organization and between the suppliers and customers during the product life cycle mostly in the form of 2D drawings.
 
Good CAD practice
Like the building that must rest on a sound foundation, and should have built using strong materials to serve its purpose and to last long, 3D models needs to be built in the right method that would allow model usage for further downstream processes of product development.

The skill and experience of the modeler would be visible by studying the model he has made. Reusability, possibility to change the model and manufacturability of the model are important.

TOOL DESIGN
EES has the expertise in designing the tools for the product. Capabilities exist in developing tools for castings, forgings, sheet metal pressing parts and injection molded plastic parts.
 
RAPID PROTOTYPING
Getting prototype parts quickly will provide greater insight on the new product and helps customers to shorten the product release time. EES can deliver prototype parts in ABS plastic in a few hours using several Rapid Prototyping techniques.
 
COMPUTER AIDED INSPECTION
Computer Aided Inspection (CAI) or Rapid Inspection techniques are used to find out whether or not the manufactured product conforms to the intended design.

EES laser scans the manufactured products and quickly super imposes them with the CAD data and provides the deviation plots and other forms of inspection reports.
 
NC MACHINING
Numerical Controlled (NC) machining is the processes of machining parts are tools for the products using the digital data in Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machines. EES has experience the machining process and can write machining codes for 3 to 5 axis milling. EES ties up with tool rooms and provides the machined parts to customers.

Reverse Engineering

Reverse Engineering is the process of extracting the technical information from existing products. EES is the first company in India to own a sophisticated 5 axis non contact Laser digitizer and provide Reverse Engineering Solutions. 3D LASER SCANNING SERVICES
EES has more than a decade of experience in Laser scanning parts of varying size, complexity and applications. EES has a 5 axis non contact Laser digitizer as well as a 7 axis portable laser digitizer using which any complex shape can be digitized.
 
CMM AND OTHER METROLOGY SERVICES
EES takes care of your total measurement needs. The type of measurement depends on the product and application. EES has a vast experience in handling measurements and inspection using Co ordinate measuring machines (CMMs), profile projectors and video measurements, X rays, CT scans. Customers can benefit from the vast experience of EES in handling measurement jobs.
 
CONVERSION OF MEASUREMENT DATA TO 3D MODELS AND DRAWINGS
The measured data of the product is a mere input and needs to be converted into other useful forms. Most of the customers need editable models and drawings for downstream processes of product development. EES has a rich experience in conversion of measurement data such as laser scan data into 3D models of high accuracy within a short span of time. EES also develops engineering 2D drawings of the parts based on the 3D models. Engineering drawing development from the physical part needs understanding of the product from fit and function. Past experience of EES helps better representation of the physical part into digital part accurately and quickly.
 
MATERIAL TESTING SERVICES
In order to understand the existing part, customers need the material composition, physical properties, metallurgical structure and surface properties apart from obtaining the physical shape. EES has experience in performing destructive and non destructive material testing and can offer expert testing solutions for ferrous and non ferrous parts. EES has a better understanding of various material standards and applications and can suggest customers suitable materials to be used for the end applications.
 
DEVELOPMENT OF MANUFACTURING DRAWINGS
Manufacturing drawings are required by the customers to realize the product in physical from. Manufacturing drawing development needs geometrical dimensioning and tolerencing (GD & T) which is one of the expertises of EES.
